Java program that finds solution to given configurations, even partially. It has no GUI, so the command is a bit tedious, but you make it fix the orientation of a particular piece, etc, which makes it very varsatile in its use. Also, by restricting certain moves, you can find algs that can be used on cuboids. Powerful tool for anyone looking for useful algs. Ryan Heise made very nice graphical front end for ACube.
Ron's Cube Solver
Nice program to find solutions, even for partially defined cases.
Cube Explorer
Using this program, you can instantly find near-optimal solutions to any pattern. The current version also supports webcams, which allows it to solve a cube without inputting the facelets by hand. Sweet! Explanation of the two-phase algorithm used to find solutions is pretty interesting, too.
Jelinek's Java Cube Applet
Josef Jelinek developed a very useful and flexible applet for 3x3x3.
WCA Official Cube Scrambler
By Jaap. Lets you select the number of scrambles, the number of moves per scramble, the type of puzzle, and displays the resulting scramble in the color scheme of your choice. Also visit Jaap's Scratch Pad.
